Bonita Hospice took care of my mother for about 6 months and they were simply superb. Bonita Hospice was the third hospice group that provided care and were without doubt the best. As is often the case with terminally ill people we would call upon them at all hours and we always received immediate, positive and caring response. Everyone in their organization was simply exceptional and we could not have asked for a better and caring association. It was truly refreshing to call them and talk with a staff person rather than an answering service AND get the help that was needed. If Yelp would allow a 10 star rating, they would get it.

Bonita Springs Hospice became our guiding light at a time when we truly did not know what we did not know. Staff has no problem giving you their cell phone numbers with encouragement to call at any time if you have questions (that in itself is a god send!) I have no reservations in highly recommending this agency to any family that is looking into hospice care. You can tell that the staff truly care for and respect the patient and family members and are dedicated to caring for the human spirit…no matter what condition that spirit is in…

Bonita Springs Hospice gave our father wonderful treatment and helped make his last days not only peaceful but meaningful. We cannot thank them enough! From the beginning, they were caring and present when he needed them. They came in and set up all the necessary equipment so quickly for us which was such a relief. Their RN’s, aides and social workers were kind, caring and compassionate and spent meaningful time with our father. Thank you so much for all you do. It meant so much for our family. Bonita Springs Hospice is truly an amazing service to families. Dr. Omer is an angel who has the most pure and kindest heart on the face of the planet! Her staff follows in that same direction. They all have an amazing way about them to comfort and bring peace during a difficult time. We will never forget the kindness, dignity and respect they showed our mother during her last days of life.

Bonita Springs Hospice helped our family through a devastating time with grace, love and compassion. Our mom, Millie, was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Sadly, her cancer was more advanced than we thought, as she lived only three weeks. In her last week, mom was in Dr. Omer’s compassionate hospice care along with her wonderful staff, Brandy, Lissette and Penny. In addition to ongoing visits, the staff, including Dr. Omer, were readily available via cell phones to give our family the guidance essential to keeping her comfortable. She not only received the best care, but in a short time, we were provided with all the essential mediations and equipment. Words can’t express our appreciation for Bonita Springs for making her last days comfortable. Thanks to you, Dr. Omer, and your kind, knowledgeable staff, Mom passed peacefully with her family by her side!

Bonita Springs is an outstanding hospice. When it came time to place mom in hospice we were blessed to have Dr. Omer and Wendy and the Bonita Springs staff assist us with comfort care. They were always available to us and follow through was amazing. They were so helpful during such a difficult time. They treated our entire family with respect, but mostly the grace and care they gave mom was outstanding. My favorite story was one my dad told me about Wendy coming by and singing to mom. I would highly recommend Bonita Springs to any family looking for hospice. They treat your loved ones as if they were their own. Thank you, Bonita Springs for the great care you gave my mom on her last days.

Dr. Omer and staff are what the medical industry should model themselves after. They treated my mother-in-law with such care and compassion. They helped with all her physical needs and left her dignity intact. They were a huge relief to us when we started getting scared toward the final days. They made us feel secure and we knew they were ALWAYS just a phone call away. I love them dearly and they will always have a place in my heart.

When my dad passed away this past June we were blessed with the loving care of Dr. Omer and her staff. Dr. Omer was gentle with my mom, kind, compassionate, and so very willing to explain everything we would experience, to family as well as our dad. You could not do better than these wonderful people to guide you, or your loved one, to their next journey; and to be there at the end to support the family. Thank you, Dr. Omer, and all the ladies who are angels here on earth that came to care for my dad.

I cannot say enough good things about Bonita Springs! In October, my husband’s oncologist told us it was time to stop treatment. I interviewed several hospice agencies (big & small) and my gut just told me that Bonita Springs was the one for us. I especially liked that an actual nurse came out for the interview rather than a representative who just does their Marketing/Sales (as was the case with the bigger agencies).

While my husband was only on hospice for 11 days before he passed, no words can describe what we went through in those days. But, the nurses (Barbara & Nita) and the doctor (Dr. Omer) were right there by our side. They insisted that I call any time day or night whenever I felt I needed them. I could call Barbara at 2 am and she would pick up immediately or call me back within minutes and never made me feel like it was an imposition. They visited us more than the contract required and stayed as long as we wanted them to. They were always extremely professional yet compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. It was the best choice we could have possibly made at a very difficult time.

I am overdue on posting this review and was just reminded to do so when I called them today to ask about grief counseling and, as they did while my husband was sick, they responded within minutes with their usual compassion and flexibility in scheduling to accommodate whatever I need. I hope you never need their services but, if you find yourself in that unfortunate circumstance, you will not regret choosing Bonita Springs!

It is always a difficult time for families to choose end of life care for their loved one. Fortunately, when the time came for our Mother, I had 2 former colleagues who worked for Bonita Springs Hospice Care. I can’t say enough about the caring and compassionate care the doctors (Doctor Omer and Doctor Protsman), nurses (Brandy, Wendy), social workers (Pam), chaplains (Dace) and aides provided for my Mother and for myself and my family members. I thank each and every one of them for the care provided for my Mother in her last days.

Sweet, caring loving care. Local hospice in Gilroy. They actually care…what a concept. This hospice is the result of Dr. Omer’s dream of providing hospice care to our local people. She has dedicated this hospice to her father. What a wonderful concept. Everyone from the receptionist, to the aides, nurses, docs, social workers and spiritual counselors are dedicated to providing support, loving care and the very best environment for people in need. They are truly dedicated, kindhearted, loving people who put compassion above everything. They are true angels. When you call in the middle of the night you are connected to either the Director of Nursing or to Dr. Omer herself…not an answering service. You get a living, breathing soul who is dedicated to their calling. Thank you Dr. Omer and all of your wonderful, sweet, caring family.

Brandy, the Clinical Director, is a God-sent angel, who walks the extra mile to take immediate action to help patients who have no physical support, medical support or financial support.
